I am going to create a short animation for my moving image AS. I will create the animation on macromedia flash. The animation is about a gang of fish who live under the sea and get into all sorts of trouble.
I am going to take influence from
. Family Guy
. South Park
. Dog Judo
I am taking influence from south park because it doesn't use the best or most intricate animation but it still makes up for it with style of movement and interaction which is unrealistic, it is unrealistic because it does not use fully fleshed out movements, with only certain parts of the body moving. Im am also taking influence from south park's heavy use of dialogue over movement. I am taking influence from family guy and dig judo because i find the humour in those cartoons very funny. I am going to take the way they make random stuff that makes no sense seem ligitemate and funny.
The impact i attend to create with my target audience, which is young teenagers, is to make them laugh while also trying to put through some morales and life lessons.
I intend to achieve this by adding a humorous twist with Donald getting brain freeze from eating to much ice cream, yet teach the audience a lesson by having Percy almost die after taking drugs.

For every statement you make, try to give an example.
sentence 2 - what skills and techniques will you concentrate on in Flash?
paragraph 1 last sentence - describe the baby bell ad; do you intend to mimic only the idea or also some of the camera shots? What shots?
What do you mean by interaction?
How would you describe the animation of South Park if it is 'not the most intricate'? In what way is it unrealistic?
Give an example of a humorous moment in family guy and in dig judo and an example of a humorous moment you plan to include in your own work to show how you have drawn on this idea.
Make a more generalised comment. Think about your intention for your film. (In the way we were analysing 2001: A Space Odyssey today) What impact are you aiming to have and how do you plan to create it?
